A former professional dancer, Sho is a highly
experienced and qualified dance teacher, examiner
and choreographer in many dance forms. A qualified
health education practiitioner, Sho specialises
in the person centred approach to working
with clients in her dance and wellbeing consultancy
`DECO' in East Sussex.
In addition to teaching Line Dancing with
her husband Josh [also a qualified LD teacher]
locally in East Sussex [DECO Dancers], Sho's
Line Dance teaching and choreography skills
are in demand in the UK and overseas. Earlier
this year Sho introduced Line Dancing at a
dance teaching convention at a University
in Germany.
Sho & Josh have travelled to USA several
times Line Dancing and in 1998 took a group
of 40 of their Line Dancers to Nashville for
a Line Dance holdiay.
Sho is currently researching
Ethics - Dance Teaching, Training and Choreography
for a Doctorate Degree. She has presented
aspects of her work to Dance Medicine and
Science conferences in UK and USA and will
be doing another presentation later this year
in Spain. Sho has had a number of articles
published in dance magazines relating to dance
and health.
Sho is still writing her book on Line Dancing
and is determined to finish it - so watch
this space.
Her latest Line Dance `Song and Dance Man'
is proving a big hit with her dancers of all
levels.
